Essential Duties & Responsibilities
The role of a Job Captain is pivotal in ensuring the production of top-tier project deliverables in construction documents across all phases of a project, including Schematic Design, Design Development, Construction Documents, and Construction Administration. Join this dynamic team and make a lasting impact with the following key responsibilities :
- Collaborate closely with the Project Architect to create project documents for bidding and construction.
- Contribute to the design and construction schedule, effectively conveying the technical implications of design choices.
- Lead and direct the architectural and / or engineering team, fostering an orderly, efficient, and coordinated workflow.
- Provide invaluable support for all tasks essential to the successful project completion.
- Craft project construction documents with precision and attention to detail.
- Communicate and coordinate document preparation with consultants, contractors, and team members.
- Diligently review shop drawings, project submittals, and other materials for document compliance.
- Maintain thorough documentation of code review and compliance.
- Foster seamless communication and coordination with management, clients, consultants, and contractors, ensuring smooth daily business operations.
- Occasional travel may be required.
- Undertake additional duties as assigned.
