Administrative/Enrollment Coordinator
Northern Industrial Training, LLC (NIT) is seeking a full-time, Administrative Training Coordinator for our PALMER location. In this position, you are the first face our students and clients see; professionalism and appropriate dress are required.
Daily tasks include answering a multi-line phone system, greeting students and walk-in clients, answering emails, conducting student orientations, coordinating with vendors, and data entry.
Administrative Training Coordinator is an exciting position for someone with pride of ownership, enthusiasm, self-motivation, close attention to detail, a sense of humor, exceptional customer service, and someone who wants to be part of a team dedicated to providing the best support for our instructors and students. The position is full-time, Monday – Friday, 7:30 am to 4:30 pm.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- File records according to established procedures.
- Data entry
- Professional and skilled customer service,
- Public speaking (speaking to groups of students, i.e., Orientation or Exit communication)
- Problem-solving-Critical Thinking
- Ability to multitask
- Answer multi-line telephone system
- Direct calls to appropriate staff
- Take clear, concise messages
- Perform administrative support tasks as needed, including processing cc payments.
- Admissions and enrollment for clients and students
- Must be able to pass a background check and random drug testing
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
- High school diploma/GED
- Excellent customer service skills; 4 years of experience in customer service and answering phones. (preferred)
- Ability to operate general office equipment, including fax and copy machine
- Knowledge of Access, Excel, Microsoft Word, and Outlook
- Must possess and maintain a valid State of Alaska Driver’s License
- Active listening skills: giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, and asking questions as appropriate
- Strong ability to work within a team as well as self-directed
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
- Patience and professionalism
- References are required

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Advanced computer skills. Including proficiency in all Microsoft Office Software including Word, Excel, Access, Publisher, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
