Key Responsibilities:
- Develop behavioral plans to improve coping skills, regulate mood, enhance confidence, and establish positive relationships for individuals with co-occurring Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities and Mental Illness.
- Schedule and participate in intra and interagency meetings to advocate for and coordinate services, evaluate progress, and ensure rights and freedoms are protected.
- Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to provide services based on medical necessity.
- Provide in-service and training opportunities to coworkers and service providers.
- Maintain current knowledge of mental health symptomatology, intervention, and treatment strategies.
