Job Summary
Clean and maintain assigned areas in a sanitary, orderly, and attractive condition for the benefit of patients, visitors, and other employees.
Responsibilities:
- Clean offices, patient rooms, patient areas, corridors, public areas, bathrooms, treatment rooms, and utility closets according to policies.
- Replenish supplies in dispensers such as paper towels, toilet tissue, and hand soap.
- Clean furnishings such as beds, stands, chairs, TVs, telephones, office equipment, stretchers, and wheelchairs.
- Use germicidal cleaning detergents.
- Clean blinds and windows.
- Clean bathrooms by scouring sinks, toilets, and similar fixtures.
- Wash walls, doors, and vents weekly.
- Dry mop and damp mop floors.
- Vacuum carpets.
- Clean and make beds.
- Follow established safety methods and procedures as outlined in organizational and departmental policies.
- Attend to page calls as needed.
- Clean and rinse OR instruments according to instruction.
- Clean the OR, Recovery Room, and Delivery Rooms according to policy.
- Work as a team member.
- Use UV disinfection machines.
- Clean and store patient equipment.
- Perform weekly checks on Pharmaceutical waste boxes in designated areas.
- Complete other work-related duties as assigned.
Additional Information:
Be willing to work alternating weekends, holidays, and assist in other departments as needs arise, including Laundry, Food Service, and Maintenance.

No minimum requirement. High School diploma or G.E.D. preferred.
