Summary :
Administer paper and computerized tests to patients ranging in age from 4 years and older. Score tests using norms and computerized scoring programs. Clear and concise documentation of other patient behaviors during testing.
Responsibilities :
- Observe and report behaviors accurately and carefully, using report formats directed by doctor.
- Report troublesome behaviors of patient or danger to patient immediately to doctor.
- Report factors that interfere with test performance immediately to doctor.
- Provide appropriate reassurance and encouragement to patients to help them perform at their maximum potential.
- Keep patients comfortable and relaxed to insure their maximum cooperation is obtained.
- Be respectful of patients and check with doctor about special issues/needs the patient may have.
- Follow standard instructions and guidelines of order of testing, as directed by doctor.
- Learn new test procedures as needed.
- Maintain administrative and scoring manuals as directed.
- Review special needs or procedures in advance of testing.
- Use scoring and norming tables as directed.
- Calculate standardized scores
- Be able to use computerized scoring programs.
- Monitor supply needs and keep orderly, so that they are easily located.
- Protect the security of test norms and administrative manuals.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Keep neat, legible and accurate records of activities, including the scoring of tests as directed.
- Record test responses, scores, etc in standard format or as directed by doctor.
