Job Description – Associate Producer
Northern Light Productions is seeking talented, creative Associate Producers to join our team and help develop, manage and shape multimedia and immersive productions.
Responsibilities
- Associate Producers are responsible for the research and content development of our media programs.
- Associate Producers perform a wide variety of tasks on set, including hiring and working with talent.
- Associate Producers are tasked with researching, tracking and acquiring archival footage and music, captioning programs, wireframing, bug testing interactives, and assembly editing.
- Strong organization, management and creative writing is a must.
- Associate Producer is an entry-level position.
Typical Duties
- Creative Brainstorming, Archival Research and Acquisition
- Content Research
- Obtaining and Tracking Media and Material Releases, Media Management, Production Planning, Scheduling.
- Creating Call Sheets, Location Planning, Scouting and Management
- Interactive Content Outline and Scripting.
- Assembly Editing and Captioning
- Managing Rights Bible and Closeout of Media Pieces
- Creating Call Sheets, Location Planning and Management
- Contributing to social media entries that are part of general marketing outreach

Qualifications
- Minimum 4-year Bachelor of Arts degree in film production or related discipline.
- Our studio is in Boston. This is an in-person position.
Salary and Benefits
- Annual Salary: $40,000
