Northern Lights food service, one of Iowa's premier food distributors, is growing rapidly, and has an exciting opportunity for a Sales Representative in Eastern Iowa. This is an opportunity for a passionate food service experienced professional to join our team. Description: The Sales Representative is responsible for all sales activities in the assigned accounts or region. Duties and Responsibilities: Exceeds established sales/profit goals and objectives Maintains and develops market share of assigned accounts. Initiates sales process by prospecting, scheduling appointments. Contributes market information and new sales strategies Develops and implements marketing strategies that promote growth for the district. Grows existing account and industry relationships and develops new ones Critical Responsibilities Communicate information and feedback related to sales/profits. Identify improvement opportunities with existing/potential accounts. Develop troubleshooting process to promote best effective use of time Participate in trade shows, seminars and events. Provide assistance for collections Coordinate shipping schedules of merchandise and services Coordinate call lists with the customer service representatives. Communicate effectively/efficiently with all departments Set the Best Example of an Account Executive in areas of personal character, commitment, organizational skills and work habits.
