DIRECT REPORTS: The Communications Coordinator serves as the primary contact for branding, marketing and functionality/performance of the ticket management system.
JOB SUMMARY:
The Communications Coordinator is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing communication strategies that effectively describe and promote the organization. This role includes managing public relations, creating internal communications, overseeing content creation, and ensuring consistent messaging across all platforms. They will collaborate with outside sales and marketing teams to build and maintain positive relationships with both the clientele and the public.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Monitor and maintain websites for both JDH & NLLI
- Utilize social media marketing tools to create and maintain branding strategies for JDH & NLLI
- Monitor all social media content and track performance
- Collaborate with outside developers to build and maintain the ticket management system
- Communicate with employees regarding inquiries to the NLLI application and web-based portal
- Seek opportunities to upsell products and services
- Nurture working relationships with clients throughout the project cycle
- Track client processes and provide prompt assistance when needed
- Design and execute solutions tailored to client needs
- Ensure compliance with company policies and follow ethical standards
- Manage expectations and ensure the delivery of requests
- Collaborate with the management team to ensure client satisfaction and project alignment
- Prepare and present reports on project progress and engagement metrics
- Lead and develop social media marketing campaigns for both JDH & NLLI
- Oversee the creation of various types of content including blog posts, newsletters, social media posts, and website content that aligns with JDH & NLLI
- Ensure all content is consistent with the organization’s brand voice and style for each company
- Interact with customers and the public via social media accounts for both JDH & NLLI
- Analyze JDH & NLLI’s digital marketing plan and social media strategy, identifying weaknesses and making recommendations for improvements
- Research social media trends and inform management of relevant changes
- Set and measure key performance indicators (KPIs) for social media campaigns
- Collaborate with designers or copywriters to provide attractive and informative campaigns
- Keep up with technologies used in social media and utilize them effectively
- Track customer engagement and SEO to optimize campaign content
- Establish relationships with industry professionals or influencers on social media
- Develop and manage internal communication programs to keep employees informed and engaged.
- Facilitate effective communication across departments and with senior management.
- Coordinate logistics, manage budgets, and handle event promotions.
- Answer phone calls during after-hours, ensuring continuous communication and support.
