Shop Foreman - Steel Fabrication

Northern Lights Steel Fabrication, located in North Branch, MN, is looking for an experienced shop foreman to lead a small team of fabricators in a positive and collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Assign work and supervise shop employees to ensure safe, quality and on-time completion of work

Know the status of jobs and prioritize work to meet schedule due dates

Train and mentor employees on equipment operation, safety and best practices

Maintain accurate records for inventory, shop schedule, quality and employee performance

Assist, as needed, in working with customers

Qualifications:

Prior experience supervising or assigning work.

Background and experience in fabrication of structural steel and miscellaneous metals.

Demonstrated ability to read blueprints and pass AWS D1.1 Structural Welding certification test.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing project requirements.

Effective supervisory, organization, decision making and communication skills.

Able to accomplish work through self and others.

HS diploma or GED required

Pay: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour
