Position Overview :
The Shipping Clerk is responsible for picking and shipping customer and branch orders. The Shipping Clerk will verify part numbers, description, quantity, quality, labeling, and addressing of parts and materials ready for shipment; package kits and parts to company standards by performing the following duties. Work involves attention to detail and working with minimal supervision.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions) :

- Picks and verifies parts and quantities for accuracy to fill customer and branch orders.
- Picks and verifies for accuracy parts from bill of material to build kits, package or assemble in accordance with company standards.
- Packages and processes all customer and branch orders for shipment in accordance with company standards.
- Prepares all required shipping documents as required.
- Assigns freight charges to customer orders.
- Uses forklift and hoist as required.
- Regular attendance is an essential function of the job.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
