The Nursing Home Liaison / Marketer r eports to the Director of Admissions and Business Development
Purpose :
The primary goal of the Liaison / Marketer role is to create and maintain a program to enhance and develop the census at Northern Manhattan Rehabilitation and Nursing.
The Liaison / Marketer will play an integral role in the creation and oversight of a comprehensive marketing program for all clients served by Northern Manhattan Rehabilitation and Nursing.
The Liaison / Marketer will enhance outcomes relating to the areas of admissions, community outreach, marketing, web development / presence and social media, and integration of the two existing product lines (Nursing Facility, Dialysis Facility).

Essential Functions :
Interacts with community leaders, social workers, case managers, discharge planners to develop and maintain strong referral relationships.
Work with the Admissions department to meet short- and long-term census goals.
Develop and provide information about marketing materials or presentations as needed.
Help manage the admissions process to ensure satisfaction for residents and families
Create, manage, and monitor new business development plans
Enhance and expand the existing marketing program for the nursing facility, increasing presence at referral sources relevant to the facility and serving as a liaison between the facility and the community.
Enhance and expand the web-based presence and social media outreach programs for the nursing facility and the dialysis center.
Develop and oversee a comprehensive marketing and admissions program for the dialysis center, seeking innovative methods to reach the community and improve census for the program.
Develop and monitor the efficacy of marketing and outreach programs and develop a quality improvement program to evaluate and improve referral sources.
Maintain ongoing communication and relationships with nursing staff, program supervisors, case managers, program management, residents, and families.
