Our engineers play two distinct roles: determining the optimal way to manufacture customer prints and participating in factory process and quality improvements.
As a custom manufacturer, we face the challenge of producing an incredibly diverse range of products efficiently and cost-effectively. To overcome this, our engineer must find creative and inventive ways of using factory machine tools to produce these products.
The engineer must then break down the assembly into parts for fabrication and communicate this information clearly to the production team.
This role also involves leading or participating in projects and process improvements. Examples include managing the installation and deployment of new equipment, developing optimal process parameters for machinery, and using software to facilitate automation of processes or repetitive tasks.
The engineer will often become an expert on a specific process and be responsible for staying up-to-date with the latest technological developments in that area.
