Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our team. This role involves managing customer inquiries, scheduling services, and ensuring a seamless customer experience using Jobber, our customer service management software. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a passion for delivering excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Interaction: Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and online platforms, providing accurate information about our gutter services.
- Scheduling & Coordination: Use Jobber to schedule appointments and communicate with necessary staff.
- Order Processing: Enter and update customer information, work orders, and job details accurately in Jobber.
- Issue Resolution: Address customer concerns and resolve service-related issues promptly to maintain satisfaction and company reputation.
- Follow-Ups & Relationship Management: Conduct follow-ups with customers after service completion to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
- Billing & Payments: Assist customers with quotes, invoices, and payment processing through Jobber.
- Data Entry & Record Keeping: Maintain organized and up-to-date records of customer interactions and job progress in Jobber.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with operations and field teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Social Media Posting: Create and manage content to the company’s social media platforms on a regular basis.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Previous experience in customer service, preferably in the home services or construction industry.
- Proficiency in Jobber or similar service management software (training available for the right candidate).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Problem-solving mindset and ability to handle customer concerns professionally.
- Basic knowledge of gutter installation and maintenance (preferred but not required).
- Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
- Must agree to a background and driving record check.
Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s degree or higher is a plus.
- 1-2 years of customer service experience, preferably in a service-based business.
