Marketing and Public Relations Coordinator
This position has 24-hour responsibility for the department. The Coordinator of Marketing and Public Relations organizes and directs the institution’s community relations efforts to develop public interest, understanding, and a positive image in accordance with the policies of the institution and consistent with administrative guidelines. The individual will respond to media and agency requests for information and coordinate the public relations program.
MINIMUM EDUCATION / LICENSURE / EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Three to five years experience preferred in marketing, public relations, or health care consulting with an interest in the health care field.
- An undergraduate degree in marketing, communications, English, journalism, or other related field required.
- Demonstrated ability in writing, editing, publication design, public presentation, photography, and computer literacy.
- Ability to cooperate and effectively work with hospital personnel, healthcare professionals outside the hospital, media representatives, business vendors, consultants, and community leaders.
- Knowledge of healthcare public relations and marketing required.
- Prepare informative, attractive newsletters, brochures, and other publications.
- Must have professional appearance, attitude, and behavior.
- Ability to maintain confidential communications.

Salary is commensurate with up to 10 years of experience.
