About the role
Billing primary and secondary insurances for hospital inpatient, outpatient, ER and Hospice; resolve denials for Medicare and Medicaid; follow up on accounts when balances are in Medicare or Medicaid; knowledge of correct billing for all payers; and assist with denials related to billing for all other payers.
Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent
- Keyboarding minimum of 50 WPM and knowledge of 10 key
- Ability to comprehend, retain and apply given information
- Experience or basic knowledge of CPT and ICD coding helpful but not necessary
- Experience in medical billing helpful but not necessary.
- Ability to successfully pass Background Check and Drug Screen.

Salary is commensurate with up to 10 years of experience.
