About the role
$20,000 Sign-On Bonus
Under the direction of the Pathologist and Department Director, the Medical Technologist or Medical Laboratory Technician performs Phlebotomy on different age groups in a proficient and caring manner while maintaining adherence to OSHA Bloodborne Pathogen Standards for Category I exposure level. Medical Laboratory Technician or Medical Technologist has the ability to perform moderately complex CLIA tests and highly complex CLIA tests without supervision. Collects and prepares samples for analysis. Operates, calibrates and maintains any clinical laboratory instrument or equipment.
Qualifications
- Required to possess Montana State CLS licensure that is equivalent to that of a Medical Technologist ASCP.
- Has knowledge relative to age of patients served.
- Experience in a clinical laboratory setting is preferred.
- Ability to successfully pass Background Check and Drug Screen.
