Job Summary:
The Loan Origination System (LOS) Junior Developer will be responsible for assisting the IT Admin in managing the duties assigned and helping ensure that it operates efficiently and effectively to support the mortgage origination process. They will be responsible for helpdesk and ticketing system, working on programs and integrations, troubleshooting issues, and providing training and support to users. They will also be responsible for assisting with monitoring that the system complies with all relevant regulations and procedures.
Duties/ Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing training and end user support related to our LOS system, ICE Encompass.
- Monitor the ticketing system and help desk, including assignments relating to password monitoring and reset.
- Troubleshoot issues related to the system, working with vendors and others as needed to resolve issues.
- Ensure that the system complies with all relevant regulations and procedures, including TRID, ATR/QM, and state-specific regulations.
- Work with other departments, including IT, compliance, and operations, to ensure that the system integrates effectively with other systems and processes.
- Assist in maintaining system documentation, including user guides and training materials.
- Stay current with industry trends and developments related to loan origination systems and technology.
- Help support LOS and user applications.
- Provide VIP service to staff and branches. And demonstrates NMS CHIPP philosophy in all interactions.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to identify and correct errors.

- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field
- 2 years of experience as a developer or a related role
- Programming software knowledge – C Sharp and/or Visual Basic preferred.
- Encompass experience or knowledge a plus
- Mortgage knowledge desired but not required
- Understand system security
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting or standing at a desk and working on a computer.
