5,000 sign-on bonus (details below) Since 2015, Nevada Behavioral Health Systems has managed the mental health and substance abuse services for residents of Nevada. We have created a network of providers who focus on the core principles of recovery : strengths-based, person-centered, individualized treatment and support for people with mental illness and substance use disorders. We contract with a wide variety of behavioral health care providers to respect and ensure member choice and to meet the special health care needs of our members. We are expanding our offices in the Reno market and looking for qualified LCSWs, LMFTs, and LCPCs to join our outpatient team We believe in serving our community with compassionate and inclusive mental health services by walking with clients on their wellness journey. Responsibilities and Duties : Knowledge of evidence-based practices for co-occurring, substance abuse and mental health treatment. Ability to work with diverse client populations and a variety of referral sources. Ability to communicate both orally and in writing with other agency personnel, referral sources, and community partners. Must be able to work with Electronic Health Records programs and maintain client documentation and on-time reporting. Ability to work in a fast paced, multi-faceted agency. Completes diagnostic evaluations on assigned clients in a timely fashion. Displays excellent interviewing, diagnostic and report writing skills. Conducts required therapy sessions with individuals, families and groups. Participates in treatment planning for each client, completes progress notes and discharge plans in a timely fashion. Documents all client related interactions - documentation must meet current standards and policies. Treats client and their families with respect and dignity; provides emotional support. Demonstrates the ability to be flexible, organized and functions under stressful situations. Complies with agency policies and procedures and safety management requirements. Qualifications and Skills Active licensure in the state of Nevada as an MFT, CPC, LCSW, or intern. Sign On Bonus - $5,000 Eligible licensed therapists will receive a sign-on bonus of $2,500 after successful completion of 6 month's of full-time service and another $2,500 after a successful year of full-time service.
