Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic Medical Surgical Nurse (RN) to join our team. As a Registered Nurse on our Medical Surgical Unit, you will play a vital role in providing safe and compassionate care to patients in the medical/telemetry environment. You will work collaboratively with the healthcare team to deliver high-quality patient care that meets the unique needs of each individual.
Responsibilities:
* Involves patients and families in psychosocial, spiritual, emotional, population-specific, and diversity-related aspects of care assessment.
* Constructs and implements plans of care using nursing knowledge and skills, integrating direct and indirect patient care activities related to diagnosis and co-morbidities.
* Coordinates implementation of interdisciplinary plans of care for assigned patients, developing goals, treatment plans, and discharge plans tailored to individual patient/family needs.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* Current NV nursing license
* Current BLS certificate
* ACLS certification
* One year of full-time or three years of part-time experience in an acute care setting preferred
