Emergency Department Registered Nurse Position
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Emergency Department Registered Nurse to join our team at Northern Nevada Medical Center. As a per diem registered nurse, you will provide direct and indirect patient care to our patients with a focus on quality and safety. Responsibilities:
- Provides direct patient care and evaluates outcomes to ensure optimal patient care.
- Uses triage process to ensure timely and appropriate care to patients.
- Ability to perform a head-to-toe assessment on all patients and reassessments as per policy.
- Ability to adequately assess and reassess pain and utilize appropriate pain management techniques.
Requirements:
- Current NV nursing license
- Current ACLS & BLS certificate
- PALS certificate (to be obtained within six months of employment)
- At least 2.5 years of ER experience required
