What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Staff position at Northern Orchard Co., Inc.?
Apple farm with fruit packing facility looking for support staff for packing line operations. Candidates in this position will perform various tasks around the line to assist in daily operations. Candidates may be asked to sort fruit for defect, assemble boxes, stack 40lb bushel boxes, run finished boxes through a taper, complete skids of product, provide materials to apple packers, and operate a pallet jack. Other tasks may be assigned. Must be able to lift 40lbs consistently.
Candidates will also learn to perform cleaning and maintenance of machinery and surrounding areas.
Experience in warehouse operations or agriculture are strongly preferred, but we are also happy to teach.
Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:00am-4:30pm, Saturday 7am-12pm
We are willing to accept candidates at a 45 hour (M-F only) work week but have a strong preference for applicants that can commit to the full 50 hour week including Saturdays 7am-12pm.
