What are the responsibilities and job description for the Equipment Operator - Paving Crew position at Northern Paving Inc?
Northern Paving, Inc., is looking for an experienced operator, who would be able to run heavy equipment which includes: Pavers, Rollers of various sizes, Skid Steers, and other paving equipment. Tasks include, but are not limited to the following:
* Operates heavy equipment of various sizes and weights used in road, site or highway construction and paving.
* Experienced in road, commercial, and driveway paving projects.
* Operate equipment safely and efficiently to maintain daily production and project goals.
* Perform daily pre-shift inspections, record any defects or problems that must be fixed and relay the information onto the Paving Foreman or Project Manager immediately.
* Perform general maintenance, repair and service equipment as required or directed by Paving Foreman or Project Manager.
* Follow directions and completely perform tasks assigned by the Paving Foreman and Project Manager.
* Any other duties assigned
*Wage based on experience, approximately $75,000-$100,000 per year (including prevailing wages)
