We are currently seeking a motivated and results-driven Account Executive to join our growing Compounding Lab Team. Reporting to the Director of Sales and Marketing, the Account Executive will focus on maintaining and expanding business within a defined geographic region, with an emphasis on increasing sales and building relationships with healthcare professionals.
Job Summary:
The Account Executive will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients. This role requires a highly motivated self-starter with a proven track record in pharmacy, pharmaceutical, or medical device sales. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be well-organized, and demonstrate the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Requirements
- Identify and target potential prescribers, including physicians, clinics, hospitals, and other healthcare facilities, to expand our compounding pharmacy business.
- Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Take full ownership and accountability for achieving company goals in the assigned region.
- Educate healthcare providers and office staff on the benefits of our Compounding Services, ensuring they align with provider needs.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare providers to ensure high levels of satisfaction and customer retention.
- Develop and execute strategic plans to grow new business while maintaining the existing customer base.
- Represent the company at conferences, trade shows, and industry events.
- Provide regular business forecasts and updates on sales activities.
- Attend in-person team meetings.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities in the CRM system.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 1-3 years of experience in pharmaceutical or medical sales with a proven record of success.
- Experience in Compounding Pharmacy sales is preferred but not required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport at all levels.
- Demonstrated ability to organize and execute sales campaigns and promotional events.
- Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Ability to travel up to 80% of the time, including occasional overnight stays.
