Client Access Specialist

Northern Pines is seeking a Client Access Specialist to join our Staples Outpatient team. This full-time position will provide continuous daily supportive services to both Northern Pines clients and staff. Duties include, but are not limited to:

Essential Functions include:

• Scheduling client appointment & maintaining providers schedules
• Check clients in for appointments
• Verification of insurances at the time of appointment
• Receive and fax documents
• Processing referrals and completing intakes
• Assisting clients with screeners
• Updating medication list by using Dr. First
• Assisting clients with resources and referrals. This may require connecting clients to Mobile Crisis Outreach services, Emergency Services and/or other supports
• Maintain excellent communication and collaboration with all programs within Northern Pines Mental Health Center
• Communicate with internal and external providers as needed to ensure continuity of care
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation
• Evaluate client satisfaction of services
• Process external employee assistance program clients
• Contact client insurances to verify eligibility of services
• Float to provide coverage at any Outpatient Clinic as needed

Qualifications include:

• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multi-task, pay close attention to details, work in a fast-paced environment and work independently at times
• High School Diploma or equivalent education
• Ability to lift 60lbs on an occasional basis
• Sit and/or stand for long periods of time
• Travel is a function of this position; a valid driver's license is required

Compensation & Benefits include:

• A wage of $20/hour
