We are seeking a LADC Supervisor to join our Substance Use Disorder Services (SUDS) team. This Full-time position will work throughout our service region. Travel to all NPMH SUDS clinics is required. Typical shifts include daytime, weekday hours. The LADC Supervisor will provide co-occurring substance use counseling services to Northern Pines clients in accordance with 245G and co-occurring requirements. This role will also provide supervision to those SUDS employees requiring supervision including Treatment Coordinators, new staff and interns.
Essential Functions include:
- Complete duties regarding client services including screening, intake, orientation, assessment, treatment planning, counseling (group, individual & family), case management, crisis intervention, client education, referral, reports, recordkeeping, and consultation.
- Strive to maintain group sizes of 12-16 and provide individual treatment plan review weekly per statute
- Conduct regular consultation and group/ individual supervision meetings
- Follow and support the SUDS philosophy, policies, procedures, and job responsibilities
- Develop and maintain appropriate professional relationships with referral sources and community agencies
- Diagnose substance use disorders
- Meet with clients and families as needed to identify needs for services and to make appropriate referrals
- Maintain records according to the SUDS policies and procedures along with co-occurring regulations
- Work as an active and effective treatment team member
- Demonstrate interest and willingness to increase skills and knowledge regarding substance abuse and participate in activities which advance the field of substance use treatment
- May participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance treatment skills
- Assist with onboarding and training of new staff, interns and treatment coordinators as well as provision of required supervision in compliance with 245G and co-occurring requirements
- Travel to other sites as needed to cover services.
Qualifications Include:
- Current, unrestricted license as an LADC in the State of MN
- Current, unrestricted supervisor letter of certification
- Current First Aid and CPR Certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
- At least one year of work experience in direct service to individuals with substance use problems or one year of work experience in the management or administration of direct service to individuals with substance use problems
- A Bachelor’s degree or three years of work experience in administration or personnel supervision in human services
- Travel is a function of this position; ability to operate a motor vehicle along with a valid driver’s license is required.
