Northern Pines Mental Health Center is seeking a Program Support to join our Health Information Services team. This full-time position will primarily be located at our Maple Street Office in Brainerd, MN. The purpose of this position is to maintain client files and statistics, respond to requests for client records, and perform additional clerical duties as assigned.
Essential Functions include:
- Release and receive client records for all programs within the agency
- Maintain client files including: file closed client charts; file client data upon receipt of information; maintain client electronic health record
- Respond to and process all requests for client records in the appropriate timeframe and in accordance with appropriate procedures
- Assist colleagues, clients, outside providers, and community partners with record-related inquiries and questions
- Responsible for appropriate storage and destruction of client files in accordance with applicable regulations
- Digitize old paper files for current and recent clients
- Scan and upload release of information, outside records, and other documents as deemed necessary
- Assist with record-related projects as needed
Qualifications include:
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis is requiered
- Travel is a function of this position; a valid driver's license is required
- High School Diploma or approved equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred
- At least one year experience working in an office/ clerical setting is preferred
Compensation & Benefits include:
- Starting Wage: $19.00/ hour
