Job Summary
The Event Manager will oversee team members in the Special Events Department, responsible for planning and gathering details to generate meaningful banquet event orders (BEOs). Key duties include ensuring compliance with internal controls and regulations, coordinating tradeshow and promotional collateral, and conducting tours of the property to sell special event facilities. The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of professional contract verbiage and clauses, as well as exceptional communication and organizational skills.

Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in event management or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in banquet, catering, and event industry
• Minimum 2 years of sales experience in banquet, catering, event, and/or hotel sales
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
