Weekend Per Diem Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA)
We are seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) to join our Weekend Per Diem team at Northern Riverview Healthcare Center in Haverstraw, NY. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in ensuring the comfort, safety, and well-being of our residents.
Duties:
- Observe residents' condition and report any health issues to the supervising nurse
- Take care of residents' personal hygiene, including bed bath, shaving, etc.
- Set up meal trays and document food/fluid intake
- Feed residents and serve nutritional supplements
- Maintain a clean and tidy living environment for residents
- Transport residents within the facility as needed
- Prevent bedsores by regularly turning bedridden residents
- Maintain confidentiality of all resident and facility data
Requirements:
- Ability to work collaboratively as a team member
- Successful completion of a CNA program
- Current CNA state certification
- In good standing with State Registry
