A typical day on the job looks like
- Providing superior and unmatched service during all interactions with members and offer experiences that are high-touch and convenient for the member.
- Receiving loan and account applications in-branch, over the phone, or online via multiple platforms.
- Assisting the borrower in determining the best loan product(s) and financial services to meet their purchasing needs and/or other financial goals.
- Interviewing borrowers to gain an overall understanding of the borrower’s current financial status and communicating with underwriting for approval.
- Preparing loan documents for signing and ensuring that loans comply with the credit union’s overall policies and procedural guidelines.
- Assisting in meeting annual lending goals and objectives.
- Communicating consumer and real estate loan products as well as ancillary protection products, such as GAP, MBP, and debt protection to the borrower.
To carry out this job you will need
- Proficient PC skills and experience with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- 6 months of lending experience. (Preferred)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour
