WHAT WE DO

B2B outside sales is challenging…which is exactly why it’s so rewarding. That’s why we’re looking for the type of person who knows how to embrace the suck and understands the value of the rewards that lie on the other side of adversity.

• This is primarily a new client acquisition role, building & growing a local book of business
• We train you to quickly become an expert at working with small to medium-sized businesses and self-employed business owners
• You’ll interface daily with our custom Salesforce CRM to organize and simplify prospecting and follow up
• Within your first 30 days you’ll become proficient at prospecting, follow up, setting up group enrollments, closing sales, and generating referrals
• Longer term (1 year and beyond) you will shift your business focus from client acquisition to reservicing existing clients and working with referrals

WHAT OUR AGENTS LOVE ABOUT BEING A PART OF NORTHERN STARS FINANCIAL

• Unlimited Commission Earnings. Average first year earnings are just over $80k, and many of our rookie agents (most of whom have no prior experience) earn over $100k their first year. Average earnings 3 years range between $150k-300k
• Lifetime-Vested Renewal Commissions. Once you’ve been with our agency for 2 years, if you ever transition to a different career, you will get paid renewal commissions on your entire book of business for as long as your clients retain their insurance policies.
• Leadership Promotions Based on Performance. From training new agents, to leading a local sales team, or overseeing an entire region, all promotions are based on objective measures, not time or tenure.
• On-the-Job Training with Top Performers. We believe in leadership by example, hence why our training program is built on you having the opportunity to shadow top performers in-the-field as well as having them shadow you.
• Regular Business Reviews and Goal Setting Workshops. We believe everyone does better when they have dialed-in goals and their leaders are invested in their success; hence why we have a regular cadence of goal setting, goal reviews, and 1:1 coaching.
• 2-3 Incentive Trips Per Year (domestic and international). We believe in working hard AND playing hard, and the power of doing both together!
• Stock Bonuses. Having high annual earnings is great, but what’s even better is getting to own a part of the company you’re helping to build and grow. You can earn stock bonuses each quarter through individual production as well as through leadership success.
