Northern State University Art Department is seeking applications for a pool of adjunct instructors for courses that may become available in August 2025. These positions require teaching undergraduate students in a comprehensive program in the Fine Arts. Courses are face-to-face and appointed based on department needs each semester. Courses may include drawing, painting, printmaking, photography, graphic design, digital design, and / or art appreciation.Responsibilities
- Teaching studio-related courses on an as-needed basis.
- Teaching in a studio and / or lecture format.
- Teaching foundational through advanced undergraduate students.
- Engaging undergraduate students in critical thinking, problem-solving, and theory.
- Upkeep of shared studio spaces.
- Work with diverse students, faculty, and staff.
