We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Lawn Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for landscaping and groundskeeping, with experience in various aspects of lawn care and maintenance. This role involves working outdoors to ensure that residential and commercial properties maintain their aesthetic appeal and health through effective lawn and garden management.
Responsibilities
- Perform regular lawn care tasks including mowing, trimming, and edging to maintain a neat appearance.
- Execute groundskeeping duties such as planting, weeding, and mulching to enhance garden aesthetics.
- Provide tree care services including pruning and removal as necessary to promote healthy growth.
- Operate hand tools and mechanical equipment safely and efficiently for various landscaping tasks.
- Assist in hardscape projects, including the installation of patios, walkways, and retaining walls.
- Manage snow plowing operations during winter months to ensure safe access for clients.
- Maintain equipment by performing routine checks, cleaning, and minor repairs as needed.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding their landscaping needs and provide recommendations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in groundskeeping or lawn care is preferred.
- Knowledge of garden maintenance practices, including plant care and pest management.
- Familiarity with tree care techniques and safety practices is a plus.
- Mechanical knowledge to operate and maintain landscaping equipment effectively.
- Ability to use hand tools proficiently for various landscaping tasks.
