What are the responsibilities and job description for the Help Desk Analyst position at Northern Technologies Group, Inc.?
Requirements:
Occasional customer onsite travel required.
Shift Rotation with weekend and holiday in-office working shifts.
NTG's Customers' security screening required after employment. (some customers require for NOC support)
Current NOC schedule:
5 days a week, 7am - 4pm.
5 days a week, 12:30pm - 9:30pm.
4 days a week, 9pm - 8am.
Recommendations for Experience to look for:
Experience with CRM/ticketing systems and structure.
Experience in Microsoft 365 Admin Portal, Microsoft Azure, and adjacent centers.
Experience with Microsoft End User Administration and application troubleshooting.
Experience with basic network and system troubleshooting on workstations.
Experience with basic network troubleshooting on Switches and Firewalls.
Experience with physical troubleshooting a plus.
Experience in customer service (in-person or phone calls) a plus.
Recommendations for Certifications to look for:
"Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals" completed or will complete in 6 months.
"Microsoft 365 Certified: Fundamentals" completed or will complete in 6 months.
"CompTIA Network " completed or will complete in 6 months.
"Microsoft 365 Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate (MD-102)" a plus.
Previously held Microsoft "MD-100" and/or "MD-101" certifications a plus (now expired and replaced with MD-102 above)
"ITIL 4 Foundation Certification" a plus.
Fortinet's "FCF Cybersecurity Certification" a plus.
Fortinet's "FCA Cybersecurity Certification" a plus.
