What are the responsibilities and job description for the SAP Systems Analyst position at Northern Technologies International Corporation?
We are looking for an SAP System Analyst to help implement and maintain our SAP S/4Hana cloud implementation. Main job duties are working with the users to provide a stable, functional system. Work with technology and implementation partners to deliver required functionality.
NTIC is a mid-sized manufacturing company, this position would support the ERP needs of around 120 employees located in North America, with most based in Minnesota.
As a leader in environmentally beneficial science, NTIC has manufacturing, inventory management, sourcing/procurement, and global shipping needs. Furthermore, as a publicly traded company, the accounting/financial reporting system must be Sarbanes-Oxley (“SOX”) compliant. The ideal candidate is very knowledgeable in the ERP systems, policies and processes required by an organization of similar size and operations as NTIC. They have a solid technical background while able to manage projects and collaborate with people. The goal is to ensure the ERP system operates effectively and supports the needs of the company.
Role and Responsibilities
- Create new materials, products, Bills of Material, costs, etc. in the SAP s/4HANA Public cloud environment.
- Act as main SAP liaison for users. Manage user requests and resolve issues. Engage with users to enhance user experience and increase usage.
- Proactively locate and correct potential problems and/or implement improvements.
- Act as a technical Lead a technology transformation initiative for NTIC to revamp/replace the current ERP to accommodate the evolving business needs.
- Provide SAP support for cut-over, go-live, hyper care, and sustainment activities.
- Assist business in gaining alignment with priorities, requirements, designs, testing, training.
- Manage execution of functional testing, validation, system and integration testing and validation of solutions.
- Enable the use of ERP technology as a strategic lever for growth at NTIC.
- Understand and document business requirements; analyze existing and/or new information and applications; propose potential solutions; and implement selected technology solutions.
- Responsible for maintaining SAP system, new user setup, permissions, and data loading.
- Complete functional specifications for reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, forms, and/or workflow.
- Create reports and dashboards and update as required.
- Perform data analytics and process ad hoc requests.
- Assist with project management procedures to ensure timely completion of projects (tasks, resources, stakeholders, and other project elements)
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- US work authorization (Required)
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
or equivalent work experience.
- Proven experience as an SAP S/4 HANA System Analyst or in a similar role.
- SAP S/4 HANA certification is highly desirable.
- In-depth knowledge of SAP S/4 HANA modules and integration with other SAP components.

Pay: $72,514.08 - $85,000.00 per year
