JOB SUMMARY

This position is responsible for ensuring all assigned areas of the facility are clean, neat, and orderly, in conjunction with the organization’s policies and procedures.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Interior/Exterior Maintenance of the facility that includes walls, woodwork, windows, floors, bathrooms, kitchenette, lawn care, and walkways.
• Sanitizes countertops, examining tables or chairs and work surfaces daily to prevent bacterial growth and prevent disease and infection.
• Practices safe procedures in cleanliness, such as wearing gloves and mask, as necessary.
• Empties waste containers daily / weekly as directed.
• Vacuum and dusts on an as-necessary basis.
• Keeps inventory of cleaning supplies and will notify Facilities Manager/Office Manager when supply is getting low.
• Reports damages to Facilities Manager/Office Manager so repairs can be made as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

• Knowledge of safety hazards and proper use of various cleaning and sanitizing solutions.
• Detail-oriented and thorough.
• Ability to perform basic repairs and operate tools or equipment used in routine maintenance.
• Ability to keep the facility clean and orderly.
• Ability to interact with staff while remaining professional, polite, and courteous.

EDUCATION

High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred

EXPERIENCE

Two years related experience preferred
