JOB SUMMARY
The purpose of the position is to support the pharmacological care of patients by delivering medications to facilities and local homebound patients.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Pick up packaged medications, over the counter items and boxes of supplies from the pharmacy and deliver to facilities on a predetermined schedule.
- Pick up prescription medications and deliver to homebound patients on a predetermined schedule.
- Collect valid signatures and payment from homebound patients.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- 2 years driving experience preferred.
- State of Vermont Licensed Pharmacy Technician required.
- Excellent, demonstrated customer service skills required.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license.
- Ability to handle frequent interruptions and adapt to changes in workload and work schedule.
- Intermediate Microsoft Office suite skills required.
