SUMMARY
Northern Tier Counseling is also a teaching clinic! We hire Master's-level therapists preparing for licensure as well as students involved in graduate programs for psychology and social work. We provide in-vivo therapy training, clinical supervision by LPC and LCSW therapists, group and individual consultation, clinical partnerships, and paid internships for candidates passionate about the practice of therapy.

What will I do?
- Responsible for functioning as the primary therapist of record for a specified caseload;
- Psychosocial intake assessment
- Conducting group, individual, and couples / parenting interventions
- Formulation of treatment plans,
- Ongoing evaluation of patient needs
- Final discharge status and aftercare planning.
- Responsible for providing a variety of medically necessary psychotherapeutic treatments and mental health evaluations as needed under the supervision of a licensed Psychologist / Psychiatrist
- Participation in treatment team meetings under the supervision of the staff psychiatrist and program supervisor / manager
- Responsibility to keep adequate case records in accordance with accepted facility, state, and federal regulations
- Participate in continuing education for all license requirements
- Work in coordination with other community agencies to provide adequate treatment to assigned clients
- Experience with Electronic Health Records (E.H.R.)
- Responsible under the program supervision / direction to prepare testimony for court proceedings in response to subpoenas generated by Court Systems
- Ability to write reports / correspondence, generate data and reports and present them
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as payment reimbursements and payroll labor distributions
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
