SUMMARY
Responsible for transporting Northern Tier Counseling (NTC) clients to and from the Wellness Center Program daily and occasional community events. The hours of this role would be as needed, typical hours are Monday through Friday, 5:45 a.m. until 8:30 a.m. and 2:45 pm until 4:45 pm.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Transportation of clients to and from the Wellness Center Program (Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program) on a daily basis; with occasional requests to transport to North Towanda Office, as well as offsite community events during the week, evenings, and/or weekends.
- Make all scheduled pick-ups and drop-offs in the appropriate time allotted and/or scheduled.
- Maintain confidentiality at all times.
- Exercises dependability and good use of judgment.
- A company owned van will be provided.
- Traveling in weather conditions transporting clients.
- Attend staff meetings as required.
- Maintain Vehicle Maintenance, as well as relaying information to Program Manager and/or Office Administrative Assistant immediately of necessary repairs (i.e. oil changes, tire rotation, tire and engine issues, etc.).
- Handling of inner office mail delivery to and from North Towanda Office, or other office(s) as requested.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills needed as well as ability to work effectively with program team members and other staff members.
- Employee will be proficient in their job position within six (6) months. If at any time an employee feels they need more training and/or education, the employee is to submit a request for such through their supervisor, manager, and/or director.
- Other functions and duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Must be 18 years of age, possess a valid driver’s license and provide proof of vehicle insurance. Experience transporting and/or experience with mental health clientele preferred.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Daily Travel is required.
- Current/Valid Driver’s License w/clean driving record.
- Moderate work: duties require exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push and pull articles such as files and computer binders.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Works in a mobile capacity transporting clients between offices and their homes.
