Job Description

General Description :

This position takes care of the watering and maintenance requirements in the Horticulture Program's greenhouse and gardens on weekends, holidays, or when the Horticulturalist is unavailable.

Duties and Tasks :

• Attends to watering needs of the greenhouse and gardens maintained by the Horticulture Program.
• Weeds, mulches, and performs related tasks when necessary.
• Employee will also be responsible for additional weeding and maintenance duties in the Horticulture Program teaching gardens and other related tasks as needed.

Special Assignments

May be required to perform other duties as assigned. May be required to assist the agency or state government generally in the event of an emergency declaration by the Governor.
