Position: Assistant Coach (Part-Time)
Location: NVSA, Closter
Dates: Saturdays and Sundays, April 14th - June 15th
(no classes on April 19th, April 20th, May 24th, and May 25th)
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the head coach in planning, organizing, and executing practice sessions.
- Provide both individual and group instruction, focusing on athlete development, techniques, and strategies.
- Manage team logistics, including scheduling practices and games.
- Monitor athletes' progress, offering constructive feedback to enhance performance.
- Foster a positive, supportive, and inclusive team culture.
- Assist with the recruitment and retention of team members.
- Collaborate effectively with coaching staff, athletes, and parents to ensure smooth team operations.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and rules of the sport.
- Support the organization of team events and fundraising activities.
Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of the sport and relevant coaching techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and inspire athletes in a positive and constructive manner.
- Previous coaching experience is a plus, but not required.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.14 - $18.00 per hour

- Monday to Friday
