Northern Window & Door Inc. is seeking a Full Time Accounting Manager to join our team in the Westerville, Ohio. We are a full-service window and door company that offers hands-on assistance every step of the way.
The Accounting Manager will oversee the financial operations of the company across multiple entities and locations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance, and process efficiency. This role will be responsible for managing all aspects of accounting, including financial statements, job costing, inventory, tax compliance, and intercompany reconciliations. Additionally, the Accounting Manager will play a key role in implementing a new accounting system.

What you will be doing :
Maintain the company’s accounting functions across multiple entities and locations.Prepare consolidated and entity-specific monthly financial statements and forecasts.Ensure accurate financial reporting across multiple locations and entities, including intercompany reconciliations and financial consolidations.Coordinate with external firms for annual reporting, including insurance audits, tax filings, and financial reviews.Assist in the implementation of a new accounting system, including data migration, configuration, process optimization, and staff training.Oversee reconciliation between the in-house CRM system and the accounting system, ensuring accurate revenue, customer deposits, and job costing data.Perform monthly bank reconciliations, verifying deposits and proper revenue recognition.Oversee customer setup, invoicing, and collections, including credit references and credit application processing.Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring invoices are correctly classified and payments are properly allocated to accounts and jobs.Maintain job costing records, working closely with operations to ensure accurate cost allocation and revenue recognition.Oversee inventory costing and reconciliation to ensure accurate tracking of materials and job-related expenses.Maintain fixed asset records, including tracking depreciation and managing fleet assets.Establish and manage annual budgets, assisting leadership with financial planning.Identify opportunities for financial process improvements, enhancing efficiency and accuracy.Stay up to date with GAAP and acceptable accounting practices.Perform other related duties as assigned.Qualifications :
