Ophthalmic Assistant
As an assistant, we will train you to provide primary ophthalmic care to patients and act as clinical assistant to physician.
- Perform complete ophthalmic history and preliminary testing, including dilating pupils, recording visual acuity and ocular pressure.
- Maintains inventory of medical supplies.
- Counsel patients by transmitting physician's orders, use of drops, contact lenses, prescription medication and answer whatever questions..
- Maintain inventory of medical supplies.
- Other duties as assigned.
Skills:
- Strong work ethic.
- Excellent verbal skills.
- Ability to multitask, stay organized, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of customer service principals.
