Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated assistant to join our early childhood education team in a toddler classroom. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development. This role requires a commitment to providing high-quality care and education to preschool-aged children while collaborating with parents and staff to ensure each child’s individual needs are met.

Duties
- Provide attentive care for toddlers and preschoolers, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and respect among children.
- Utilize effective behavior management techniques to guide children's actions and promote positive interactions.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress, behavior, and any concerns that may arise.
- Collaborate with other educators and staff to create a cohesive educational experience for all children.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom space conducive to learning.
- Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge in early childhood education.
Qualifications
- Experience in toddler care, daycare, or preschool settings is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of special education practices is a plus for working with children with diverse needs.
- Previous experience as a nanny or caregiver is beneficial for understanding child development stages.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
- A genuine love for working with young children and a commitment to their growth and development.
