Responsibilities : Develops and provides specialized instruction to meet the academic, functional, and behavioral needs of students who require special education services in a preschool classroom for students with cognitive disabilities. Services may be provided in special education settings and general education settings. Evaluates and assesses student academic, functional, and behavioral progress; functions as IEP Manager to assigned students and completes all due process requirements. Directs the work of Educational Assistants and collaborates with other service providers and educators. Communicates with parents / guardians.
