Commissary Data Integrity Clerk

JOB SUMMARY: To serve as a liaison between the vendor and buyer community, and the store personnel; to accurately maintain retails, cost and allowances for multiple price files within the Retalix system and the vendor community; to provide data integrity and maintenance support.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The essential duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Take a “hands on” approach to data cleaning as directed.
• Assist management in implementing controls to reduce data issues and improve data quality.
• Respond to any inquiries regarding data integrity and pricing issues.
• Respond to work order tickets assigned through the Track it system.
• Responsibilities include new item set-up, item maintenance, item discontinues and replacement item maintenance.
• Responsibilities include new vendor set-up and maintenance.
• Review error logs and report findings of abnormalities.
• Respond to any questions regarding data integrity and pricing issues.
• Input of weekly retail changes, warehouse and DSD, and TPR’s within time constraints.
• Perform Plum and E-Plum retail updates for meat scales and Retalix.
• Assist with additional data integrity and pricing functions such as weekly Ads, daily produce retail changes, tag printing and immediate tag batching.
• Resolve discrepancies in accounting records; research and review store invoice variances as directed.
• Monitor weekly cost and allowances updates from outside vendors. Compile and communicate daily retail batches to store personnel.
• Serve as back up for the AD Data Integrity Clerk.
• Perform any other work-related duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS AND CONDITIONS:
Education/Experience
• High school diploma required; Associate’s degree preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum two years experience in a retail environment.
• Minimum two years experience working in Data Integrity and/or Pricing is preferred.

Certificates/Licenses/Registrations
• (None required).

Skills Required
• Must possess knowledge of Unified Grocers file and data transfer programs.
• Must possess excellent organization, interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written.
• Must be bilingual (English and Spanish).
• Must be organized and proficient at creating organizational systems.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Must be extremely detail-oriented.
• Must be a self-starter who is capable of managing multiple projects and meeting critical internal and external deadlines.
• Be able to pass a standard drug test and qualify as being drug free under the legal and medical guidelines permitted by the Drug Free Workplace Act of 1988.

PAYBAND:  $20.25-$25.375
