NorthHill Technology Resources has a need for a Senior Systems Engineer to support a Federal Program in Springfield, VA. This is a direct-hire role with our client, a fast-growing Federal Integrator. An active Top-Secret Clearance is required.

QUALIFICATIONS
Systems Engineer
- Contributes to completion of specific engineering programs and projects
- Develops solutions to a variety of complex engineering problems
- Perform complex systems design, development, and integration from the start of a systems life cycle to the end
- Oversees complex infrastructure including installing, configuring, testing, and maintaining operating systems, application software, and system management tools
- Performs complex systems modeling, simulation, and analysis
- Prepares and maintains documentation for processes and procedures related to engineering projects
- Maintains current knowledge of rapidly changing technology
- May coach and provide guidance to less-experienced professionals
- May serve as a team or task lead
QUALIFICATIONS
- 8 years of related systems engineering experience
- Active TS/SCI clearance required and eligibility to obtain a CI poly
- Linux system administrator
- Scripting / Coding (Bash, Python, etc)
- Kubernetes
- Ansible
- Helm charts
- Automation
- A deep expertise in one of the following areas and working knowledge of one or more of the other following:
- Operational support
- Virtualization technologies (VMware, virtual networking, vROPS, XenServer/XCP-ng)
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux, YUM, Satellite, Capsule technologies
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Ceph storage platform
- GitLab
