What are the responsibilities and job description for the Children's Mental Health Practitioner position at Northland Counseling Center?
Provides culturally competent therapeutic services (behavioral / skill based interventions) to children under age 21 with severe emotional disturbance (SED) or emotional disturbance (ED) and their families. This position involves working with children and their families in the community, homes, and schools to restore the child's emotional and behavioral functioning. Job responsibilities include designing and implementing treatment and interventions, either individually, in a group, or in a family setting.
