Job Summary
We are seeking a professional and friendly Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the last point of contact for our clients and visitors, providing exceptional customer service while managing a variety of administrative tasks.
This role requires proficiency in handling phone calls, scheduling appointments, and performing insurance verifications. Experience with dental software such ash, Eaglesoft, is required.
Responsibilities
- Check out, Check in and assist patients and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
- Manage incoming phone calls with excellent phone etiquette, directing calls to appropriate staff as necessary, but the goal is to be able to handle each phone call with autonomy.
- Extremely proficient in dental discourse.
- Schedule and confirm appointments while maintaining an organized calendar and assisting the dental office manager with any needs.
- Perform insurance verification and ensure all necessary documentation is collected from patients.
- Maintain accurate patient records and manage clerical tasks including filing and data entry.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure seamless patient care and communication.
Qualifications
- 2 years previous experience in a dental front desk or receptionist role is A MUST.
- You will be the first point of contact for phone calls.
- Familiarity with Eaglesoft and dental insurance is A MUST.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for interacting with patients and staff.
- You will be check-out; you have to be comfortable talking finances, collections, balances, and all things financial with patients. THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT PART OF YOUR JOB.
