We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipping Coordinator to join our manufacturing team and play a critical role in ensuring our products reach our customers safely and on time.
Job Summary:
The Manufacturing Shipping Coordinator is responsible for coordinating outbound shipments, ensuring proper documentation, and collaborating with internal departments and external logistics partners to meet delivery timelines and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and perform daily shipping activities for all inbound and outbound products
- Organize and optimize warehouse space to ensure products are accessible and all space is utilized efficiently.
- Prepare shipping documents including packing lists, bills of lading, and shipping labels
- Schedule and communicate with carriers, freight forwarders, and delivery services
- Ensure accurate inventory movement and timely order fulfillment
- Inspect shipments to verify quantity, quality, and condition of items
- Maintain shipping logs and tracking information in ERP or inventory system
- Work closely with production, inventory, and customer service teams
- Assist with cycle counts and inventory reconciliations as needed
- Ensure all shipments comply with company policies and industry regulations
- Proactively identify and resolve any shipping or logistical issues
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2 years of experience in shipping, logistics, or warehousing (manufacturing experience preferred)
- Familiarity with shipping software, ERP systems, and freight scheduling platforms
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of domestic and international shipping regulations a plus

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
