Maintenance Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician with expertise in mechanical maintenance to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical systems and equipment, ensuring optimal operation in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical systems, including gears, pumps, motors, sensors, and dispensing equipment.
• Diagnose and repair issues with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Maintain and troubleshoot conveyor systems to ensure smooth operations.
• Conduct routine inspections and tests to identify equipment failures and inefficiencies.
• Read and interpret mechanical blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Collaborate with the maintenance team and other departments to minimize downtime and improve equipment reliability.
• Use diagnostic tools and testing equipment to assess mechanical performance and functionality.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance, and inspections.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Education: High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or associate degree in a related field preferred.
• Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in mechanical maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Technical Skills:
• Strong knowledge of gears, pumps, motors, sensors, hydraulics, pneumatics, and conveyor systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components.
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
